<p>How to enter a Stationary Security Zone in the Chart Plotter</p><p>Reaction Zone 1) Enter the waypoint function and drop a waypoint by cursor at the HVA’s Latitude and Longitude. 2) Edit that waypoint and scroll to the bottom of the screen and enter the distance of your reaction zone in the Proximity Alarm option. Click save. 3) Return to chart plotter screen and click the Alarm button. 4) With Alarm screen up, scroll down and choose the Proximity alarm and turn it on. 5) Return to chart plotter and you will now see a red dotted circle surrounding the waypoint you entered for your HVA. 6) With the roll ball move your cross hair to the edge of your security zone (where the water meets the shore) and click mark entry. Mark entry will be one of your soft key functions. 7) It will drop a mark on the chart. 8) From your 1st mark, walk your cursor cross hair along the edge of the zone and click mark entry every ¼ inch or so. 9) Continue this until you have completed a half circle from the shore of one side of the security zone to the shore of the other side of the security zone. 10) At this point connect the two ends by moving the cursor cross hair to you original mark. 11) This should draw a line crossing over your HVA 12) You have now completed your Reaction Zone.</p><p>Intercept Zone 1) Enter the waypoint option and edit the waypoint you made for your HVA. 2) Scroll down to the bottom and change your Proximity Alarm to the distance of the boundary line of your Intercept Zone. 3) Return to your chart plotter 4) Now complete steps 6 thru 9 5) Now that you have completed the outer ring of the Intercept Zone, instead of returning to your original waypoint return to your waypoint and click mark entry 6) From the waypoint you are ready to make your center line. 7) From your waypoint use your cursor cross hair’s and move it to the outer Boundary line and choose a spot that equally divides your security zone into two zones and click mark enter. 8) You will now see your completed security zone. You should have your Reaction Zone, Intercept Zone and “A” & “B” Sectors.</p><p>Place your screen in the Overlay Mode and you can now see TOI’s driving through you security zone </p>
