<p>UNOFFICIAL COPY AS OF 05/08/18 01 REG. SESS. 01 RS BR 1580</p><p>A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in loving memory and honor of Murray Biegalle. WHEREAS, Murray L. Biegalle was born in Hesperia, Michigan on July 1, 1923, and traversed these earthly bounds on December 22, 2000; and WHEREAS, Murray L. Biegalle graduated from Centre College in 1940, the Kentucky Military Institute in 1941, and served in the United States Navy from 1943- 1946 where he attained the rank of lieutenant junior grade status during World War II; and WHEREAS, Murray L. Biegalle was the loving husband of Emma "Emmy" Mae Gordon Biegalle; the son of the late John H. and Florence Jones Biegalle; and a proud uncle of three nieces and a nephew; and WHEREAS, Murray L. Biegalle began an illustrious career with the Commonwealth of Kentucky when he began working for Department of Revenue in 1961, transferred to the Department for Economic Security in 1962, and subsequently came to the Legislative Research Commission in 1970; and WHEREAS, Murray L. Biegalle served in many capacities with the LRC and was fortunate enough to serve this honorable body under four directors before his retirement in 1987, after 30 years of dedicated service; and WHEREAS, Murray L. Biegalle was an active member in the community of</p><p>Danville, Kentucky; his church; his alma mater, Centre College; and was a loyal fan and supporter of the Kentucky Wildcats; NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: Section 1. When the Senate adjourns this day it does so in loving memory and honor of Murray L. Biegalle. Section 2.
