<p>INFRADERM –HIGH-FREQUENCY - FACIAL PROCEDURE</p><p>PREPARATION</p><p>____ Gathered and arranged required materials, implements and supplies. ____ Read instruction on machine and set up machine. ____ Washed hands with soap and water before each client. ____ Greeted client in a friendly and professional way. ____ Asked client to remove jewelry and store in safe place. ____ Showed client to dressing room; offered assistance. ____ Placed clean towel across back of facial chair. ____ Seated client in facial chair; placed towel across client’s chest ____ Fastened head covering around client’s head to protect hair. ____ Washed hands with soap and water. ____ Reanalysis client </p><p>PROCEDURE</p><p>____ Remove eye makeup ____ Removed client’s lipstick ____ Removed cleanser with spatula ____ Applied cleanser ____ Removed cleanser with warm moist towels. ____ Applied warm moist towels to face to open pores for deep cleansing. ____ Cleansed face with wet cotton pad sprinkled with astringent. (non alcohol base) ____ Apply eye pads ____ Applied high-frequency current with direct application (facial electrode) over entire face for not more than five minutes. Do not use tapping movements. Do not lift hands from client’s skin. ____ Left eye pads on and applied a treatment mask that is suitable for skin; allowed to remain on face for eight to ten minutes. ____ Removed mask with moist cotton pads. ____ Applied astringent to face with wet cotton pad. ____ Applied sunscreen.</p><p>CLEANUP AND SANITATION</p><p>____ Removed head covering and escort client to dressing room, offered assistance if needed. ____ Discarded all disposable supplies and materials. ____ Closed product containers tightly, cleaned them, and put them away in their proper places; returned unused cosmetics and other items to the dispensary. ____ Placed used towels, coverlets, head covers, and other linens in hamper. ____ Clean and disinfect electrodes. ____ Sanitized workstation and facial chair. ____ Return electrodes to facial room and store in ultraviolet sterilizer. ____ Washed hands with soap and warm water.</p>
