<p> Project Title OKOUMEA: INNOVATION </p><p>Number of beneficiaries: 5000</p><p>Number of indirect beneficiaries: 20000</p><p>Project location: Libreville, Gabon</p><p>Project Promoter: IKOUMBOU IKOUMBOU Bertin</p><p>Project display :</p><p>The project is to create an okume resin's processing plant with a laboratory and nine other gum factories, muscle toners, cosmetics, essential oils, elbow prostheses for the disabled, incense, production of renewable energy and armaments.</p><p>My ambition is to develop this product, so far it is usedtraditionally by natives for lighting indigenous lamp/ torch while it can be used in the cosmetics industry, gum, pharmaceuticals, armaments, essential oils, manufacture of prostheses, in renewables and in weapons. This product has a very high potential for scientific, technological and economic.</p><p>Analysis of the need</p><p>Gabon sorely lacks industries and the unemployment rate is 35% among youth and 25% of the workforce. To curb these problems it is time that Gabon values its natural resources and adopts a powerful industrial fabric to create wealth and contribute positively to economic and social progress of its people and that of all humanity.</p><p>Relevance of the project</p><p>The proposed creation of the resin treatment plant and its development in various clusters bring new life to Gabon, because the applications of this product is multiple, Gabon will develop a diversified industrial base, an essential factor in development, not only as a producer of wealth but also quality jobs.
