<p>Computer Application: Exercise One</p><p>1. The First Step:</p><p>(1) Open New File, set it up as 44.1kHz, stereo, 24 bit.</p><p>(2) Use microphone to record the following words, “Brian’s baby brother Blain</p><p> bought big blue bunches of blueberries. Silly Sally sings songs sweetly while sitting on the streaming sidewalk when the sizzling summer sun was shining” Save it as EX01-01.wav. (Setting source: microphone).</p><p>2. The Second Step:</p><p>(1) Open New File, set it up as 44.1kHz, stereo, 24 bit.</p><p>(2) Open Window Media Player and find a classical music station in the Radio section. (Setting source: stereo mix). Record a piece of background music, and save it as EX01-02.wav. The length of EX01-02 should be the same as that of EX01-01. </p><p>3. The Third Step:</p><p>(1) Use Remove Noise (移除雜音) effect on EX01-01.wav and EX01-02.wav, and save them. Make sure your voice in EX01-01 can be heard (Use Amplify effect in Goldwave to increase your volume if necessary).</p><p>(3) Use Goldwave to mix EX01-01 with EX01-02, and save it as EX01-03.wav. </p><p>(2) Use Fade (淡入淡出) effect on it, and save it again.</p><p>4. The Fourth Step:</p><p>* After you finish, please call for the instructor to check it out.</p>
