<p> BALLINA PLAYERS INC.</p><p>Minutes MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING</p><p>12 th July 2017</p><p>Meeting opened: 6.02pm</p><p>PRESENT: W Binney, M Sheehan, J Sheehan, P Harding, S Belsham APOLOGIES: L Gale, G Marsh</p><p>Matters For Discussion: 1. Treasurer’s Report: balance $111 796.32 Moved P Harding, 2nd J Sheehan 2. CARRIED OVER - Warwick to report on RSA discussions with RSL- Sue, Mike, Jaime going on 14th August and possibly Peter 3. CARRIED OVER – Warwick to report on progress of bar renovation-still chasing him up 4. CARRIED OVER – Geoff to report on progress on double light switch for greenroom-the work is done 5. CARRIED OVER- Sue-Publicity teams-Sue reported that James, Elizabeth, Paul & Janet were keen to form a committee. 6. Discussion of Duty Manager document -Approved. Discussion went on to discuss bad reports of the coffee. Sue to talk to Elizabeth & James. 7. Graeme Speed Platter suggestion -Committee discussed pros and cons-feeling is that we don’t go ahead-concept is very good, but we don’t think it’s workable.</p><p>General Business  Next Meeting-Monthly Meeting 18th July, Management 15 August  New website concept (Mike)- submitted James’ temporary website through bandzoogle to demonstrate how a website can show video and moving images, it is much more dynamic-cost would be $US12.75 (approx $AUS 16.75)- committee had some queries and asked Mike to discuss with James & report back.  New Members- Sue Buss, Barbara Sparrow, Mia Sansom, Ian Michelson, Sharee Bloomfield, Nita Braz, Venita Donald, Simone O’Connor, Oliver O’Connor, Saoirse O’Connor, Evie O’Connor  Committee reps on audition panels-Wonderettes (Mike), Poppins (Warwick)  Sue-Abby McCalman will assist Tim as Choreographer for Mermaid, will be known as assistant to the Choreographer  Sue-Ella will be assistant to Jaime on Poppins, and will be known as Assistant Choreographer  Sue-no Stage Manager for Poppins as yet.  Sue-a budget is being prepared for Poppins using Geoff’s model and costs of previous productions. Poppins will be more expensive, particularly in the areas of advertising, Costumes ($5000) and set, as Mary is required to be able to be ‘flown’. Committee discussed a show-specific budget, but budget approval was left till next month as Sue needed to do some more work once Poppins is cast.  Warwick-need more keys-Mike & Warwick to meet and prepare a ‘keys register’  Flowers to be sent to Wendy</p><p>Meeting closed at: 6.53pm</p>
