<p> Ed Brune Charter School Big Springs Charter System</p><p>School Management Board Regular Meeting Wednesday, November 16, 2016</p><p>AGENDA</p><p>Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the School Management Board of Ed Brune Charter School will be held at Friends Grill, Leakey, Texas on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 11:30am. (Located across from the Real County Courthouse)</p><p>The agenda of this meeting shall consist of the following:</p><p> Call to Order/Declaration of Quorum</p><p> Invocation</p><p> Reports Superintendent’s Report  Student Enrollment  Brune School  Cailloux-Najim School  Enhanced Horizons Adult Education</p><p> Public Comments At the beginning of the board meeting guests may sign up to present questions or comments. To comply with Open Meetings Regulations, the board may be required to delay any public questions, comments, responses or actions until the specific topic has been posted in a manner that will meet all legal requirements.</p><p> Consent Agenda All items listed below within the consent agenda are to be considered routine by board members and will be enacted with one motion. Individual items may be discussed, but no approval is necessary until the end of the discussions. (Corrections and/or changes may be made prior to the vote).  Approval of Minutes from last school board meeting (October 19, 2016)  Budget Status and Expenditure Report Fiscal Reporting Period (FY 2016-2017) for periods ending October 31, 2016.</p><p>Action Items:  Review and Consideration of Approval: Legal representation for school district by SLH, Schulman, Lopez, Hoffer & Adelstein.  Review and Consideration of Approval: Big Springs Charter School Board Policies (Legal).  Review and Consideration of Approval: EH plan of action.</p><p>Information Items:  Matters of Concern by Board Members.  School Board Fingerprinting.  School Board Training due December 1, 2016.  Governance report due December 1, 2016.</p><p>Executive Session: If during the course of the meeting, discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in a closed meeting, the board will conduct a closed meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, subchapter D and E before any closed is convened, the presiding officer will publicly identify the section or actions of the Act authorizing the closed meeting. All final votes, actions, or decisions will be taken in open meeting.</p>
