<p> DEPARTMENT OF POLICE EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP 3515 BARGAINTOWN ROAD EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ 08234-8321 PHONE: (609) 926-4036 FAX: (609) 926-4004 WWW.EHTPD.COM Raymond Davis (609) 926-4036 Chief of Police Fax: 926-2660</p><p>News Release Incident: Motor Vehicle Crash Date of Print: 03-29-2017 Case# 17- 19077</p><p>On Wednesday, March 29th, 2017 at approximately 6:51PM, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department responded to the Black Horse Pike and Silver Avenue, in the Cardiff section of the Township, for a motor vehicle crash.</p><p>A 2012 Hyundai Sonata being operated by Nickolas Daniels, 18 years of age from Ventnor, was attempting to execute a left hand turn from Silver Avenue, onto the east bound lanes of the Black Horse Pike, using the opening in the median. A 2017 Infinity sedan being operated by Lucas Marchiano 4th, 41 years of age from Egg Harbor Township, was traveling west on the Black Horse Pike in the left lane of travel. As Mr. Daniel’s attempted to execute the left turn, his vehicle pulled into the path of Mr. Marchiano’s vehicle. As a result, the front end of Mr. Marchiano’s vehicle impacted the driver side of Mr. Daniel’s vehicle. </p><p>As a result of the impact, Mr. Daniel’s vehicle rolled and came to rest on its driver’s side in the east bound lanes of the Black Horse Pike. Mr. Daniel’s and his front seat passenger were able to remove themselves from the vehicle. Mr. Daniel’s and his passenger, in addition to Mr. Marchiano, were treated on scene by the Egg Harbor Township Ambulance Squad for minor injuries. Mr. Daniels and his passenger were later transported to the Atlanticare Regional Medical Center’s Mainland Campus in Galloway Township, for further treatment. </p><p>As a result of the crash, the east bound lanes of the Black Horse Pike were shut down for approximately forty five minutes.
