<p> CIS 3309 Lab Assignment 3 – Chapter 5</p><p>Due: Friday, February 10th (before 11:30pm)</p><p>Please read Chapter 5 and understand the material before beginning Lab 3.</p><p>The goal of this assignment is to give you some experience writing code with control structures in VB.</p><p>You will create a number guessing game program. The program will randomly choose a number between 0 and 100 that the user will try to guess. The user will be given a maximum number of tries (10 max) to guess the number. The user wins only when they guess the randomly chosen number before the maximum number of tries expires. Otherwise, the user loses the game. During the course of playing the game, you need to let the user know whether the guess was too high or too low. </p><p>Hint: there are two ways to accomplish this task since it is an event-driven program. One way involves a loop and you will need to use an InputBox for input instead of a textbox. The other way doesn't involve a loop and you can use a textbox for input.</p><p>The program should display how to play the game, number of wins, losses, and the total number of guesses. </p><p>I want you to use Google, MSDN, and/or other online resources to find out how to generate a random number and how to use an InputBox.</p><p>You need to a zip file with the complete version of project folder that contains all the files for the program and use the link to this assignment to submit the lab.</p><p>Submission: You need to zip the root folder for your solution into a single zip file and submit the assignment in Blackboard. To submit the assignment, you need to click the Assignment’s Title “Lab 3” to view the submission form and upload the file. </p><p>Make sure you properly submit your assignment and that it works. Programs that don’t run or don’t contain all the necessary files will not be graded and marked late.</p><p>Please be sure to save your work periodically as you proceed and also back it up. You may want to store it on your flash drive. If you are going to zip an application in order to store it, BE SURE TO FIRST CLOSE Visual Studio. If you do store information on your flash drive be sure to copy it to a hard drive on your computer before working with the project.</p>
