<p> The Olympic Club Foundation</p><p>Grant Application Instructions The Olympic Club Foundation (OCF) supports and encourages participation by Bay Area youth in amateur athletics. Our mission is to financially support programs, which share our belief that participation in organized athletics enriches young lives and develops future community leaders.</p><p>The OCF supports a variety of organized youth athletic programs. The Foundation will consider the following requests for support up to $25,000 (please be aware our average grant size is $7,000): ● Youth athletic programs: program costs, uniforms, equipment, coaching staff, facility rentals, entrance fees, team travel costs, player fees for sports teams, etc. ● Development and renovation of athletic facilities ● Serving residents of at least one of the following Bay Area counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, or Sonoma </p><p>The OCF does not fund: ● Organizations that have received funding in two consecutive of the last three years ● Unified school districts ● Proposal requests for administrative and operating costs ● Therapeutic athletic activities, academic programs, playgrounds, non-sports summer camps and nutrition programs</p><p>All applicants must complete the Grant Application. Please answer the questions in the narrative with paragraphs numbered to correspond with the questions. After your proposal is received, the Grants Coordinator will follow up if additional information is needed and to arrange a site visit.</p><p>In 2017 there will be two grant cycles to better accommodate our grantees. You may only apply to one grant cycle per year. See the grantmaking calendar below. Applications for matching or challenge grants are encouraged.
