<p> NATURAL AND APPLIED SCIENCE CORE COURSE RUBRIC 1. The purpose of the Natural and Applied Science (N&AS) core requirement is to develop a better understanding of the physical and biological world by learning some of the principles that explain the natural phenomena of the universe, the experimental method used to derive those principles, and their applications.
