<p> Provider NewsFlash September 2012</p><p>Portal Provider Education Updates</p><p>Purpose of this communication CareCentrix has enhanced its Provider Education Center on the provider portal with new claims and billing educational resources. This section contains additional educational tools regarding claims submission, including claims education videos covering:  Proper HCPC/Modifier submissions  Taxonomy  NPI  ICD-9/10  Date Spans (“from/to”)  NDC codes  Claims “best practices”</p><p>Each video is short (2 minutes or less), and provides helpful visuals and narratives to help bridge any questions a provider may have on these topics.</p><p>In addition, we have provided user guides to both the CMS 1500 form and the UB04 form.</p><p>What do I need to do? In order to view these new educational tools, please visit the CareCentrix provider portal at www.carecentrixportal.com and click on the provider education link. </p><p>The claims videos and user guides are now located under the claims education center link. Please share these valuable resources with the appropriate billing individuals in your organization.</p><p>Is there anything else I need to know? There is no provider log-in required to view the claims education tools and the link can be accessed from our portal home page. Contact your network coordinator with any questions that you might have regarding our provider portal or claims submission.</p><p>Thank you in advance for your cooperation and continued partnership.</p>
