Group presentation and team evaluation

Time limit: About 10 minutes and no more than 12 minutes per group.

Guidelines for the presentation (Follow Munter’s reading on how to build a good presentation). Helpful Hints

Remember a good presentation tells as story. It should not be too long and hard to follow (we do not want to be dazzle by your presentation skills but learn/her your story). It should be long enough and include enough detail for the audience to feel like the learn something. A good rule of thumb regarding how long it should be is to have 1 slide per minute.

Keep your audience in mind. Your audience is the board of directors (Me and peers from the other industry).

The design of the slides is important. Slides need to have good titles that convey information and tables and or graphics that help the viewer plow/understand/visualize over complex information.

I am expecting for the presentation to include “details” (numbers, data, relevant qualitative information)

Deliverables: The power point slides in paper version to be given prior to the presentation. The group evaluation grids included at the end of the grading rubric.

Grading: I will follow the rubric included on the next page. I will grade your presentation based on the content of it although I will provide you feedback on your oral presentation skills. This means that although I do not require that all members of the team speak I highly encourage you to do so.
