Over 10 000 UFO sightings have been reported to the British government in the last 50 years., they are widely referred to as Britain’s X files. It started after WWII when people feared a communist subversion and weapons of mass destruction, it went on during the cold war paranoia. At that time the USA and Britain were on high alert. People even thought they had seen 10 flying saucers flying over Washington… fears were running high. Later on science fiction movies and space exploration continued to fuel the imaginations and triggered other outbreaks of sightings.
