<p> CITY OF MILTON ORDINANCE 1792-12</p><p>AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MILTON, WASHINGTON; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1782-11 ADOPTING THE ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE CITY OF MILTON FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2012; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.</p><p>WHEREAS, the Milton City Council adopted the 2012 budget pursuant to Ordinance No.1782-11; and</p><p>WHEREAS, this adjustment will reflect the actual beginning fund balances versus the budgeted beginning fund balances for 2012, and </p><p>WHEREAS, the City Council has approved some budget adjustments during the first half of 2012; and</p><p>WHEREAS, there are some adjustments necessary to reflect unanticipated revenues and expenditures for 2012; and </p><p>WHEREAS, the budget ordinance is being amended to reflect the above changes in order to stay in compliance with the State Auditor; NOW THEREFORE, </p><p>THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MILTON, WASHINGTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:</p><p>Section 1. Severability. Should any section, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance, or its application to any person or circumstance, be declared unconstitutional or otherwise invalid for any reason, or should any portion of this ordinance be pre-empted by State or Federal law or regulations, such decision or pre-emption shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance or its application to other persons or circumstances.</p><p>Section 3. Effective Date.
