As We Prepare for the CHS 2009 Baseball Season, at the Urging of Coach Howard, the CHS

CHS Baseball Etiquette at Randy Jordan Field

At the urging of Coach Mathis, as we prepare for the CHS 2012 baseball season, the CHS Booster Club would like to remind you of baseball etiquette. We expect to have a fun and safe season while also preserving our field and complex.

The Field:  Out of respect and safety, only coaches and players are allowed on the field. Unless approved by Coach Mathis, parents and children are to remain off the field and behind the fence at all times. The Batting Cage:  The batting cages are not a playground therefore, no children are allowed in the batting cages during practice or games. During games, the batting cage is closed. The Press Box:  The Press Box is off limits unless you are keeping the scoreboard, announcing or handling the music selections. The Press Box Deck:  The Press Box Deck is off limits to all persons except alumni, special guests and CHS players filming games. Parking:  Parking is prohibited inside the front gate of the baseball field for anyone other than the coaches or someone with permission from Coach Chad Mathis. The Concession Stand:  During games, only concession stand workers are allowed in the concession stand. During games, children under 16 are not allowed in the concession stand.  Concession Stand schedules are posted on the Website (Bottom of Booster Club Page), with opening and closing procedures. If you cannot work your assigned date/game, it is your responsibility to swap with another parent.  Pre-Paid accounts should be checked weekly to insure players have money in their account. No charges will be allowed.  The Concession Stand Contact is Judy Ferrell. Outside The Field Grounds:  After each game, it is the responsibility of all parents to clean the stands, bathrooms, the grassy area next to the road and to empty the trash cans.

There is rich tradition and pride in our CHS Baseball Complex. Please do not abuse or ignore the privilege of enjoying such an outstanding complex. Being respectful of the coaches, players, fans and the complex is an affirming sign that you recognize the tireless work and efforts that others have done.

THE CHS BASEBALL BOOSTER CLUB
