<p> Create Your Own Myth </p><p>You have been commissioned to create an etiological myth to explain some aspect of the world around us. You must include an original character, original picture, and original myth.</p><p>General Requirements *Typed and double-spaced *Creative title *Multi-paragraph</p><p>Character *Your character must have specific traits and powers that will allow it to blend in with the rest of the characters of mythology.</p><p>*The character should be made of a variety of animal parts or animal and human parts.</p><p>*It may be a god or goddess.</p><p>*The character should be creative. (For example– no people with wings or merpeople)</p><p>*The picture of the character should be hand drawn or computer generated. It should be colorful. You may not just print a picture off the internet. It must be original.</p><p>*The picture should include the original name of your character featured prominently.</p><p>Myth *The myth must be etiological and explain some aspect of the world around us.</p><p>* The character you create should be the main character in your myth.</p><p>*The myth should include a beginning, middle and end.</p><p>*One paragraph should be a detailed description of your character, its different parts, character traits, and special abilities.</p><p>* You may want include a paragraph detailing how the character is created, but this is not necessary.</p><p>*You must include other characters from mythology into your myth. </p>
