It combines high performance network attached RAID with both NAS and iSCSI support to offer the best value for all-in-one storage system. It also offers high versatility for different applications, such as, emails, database, video media, file centralization and sharing and assist companies seamlessly consolidate all storage resources together and ensure the data availability..</p><p>Unified Storage The HW1624i can provide “out-of-the-box” unified network-attached storage solution with support for both file-system data (NAS) for users and block-storage iSCSI data (IP-SAN) for application servers. It enables both block and file I/O through the same easy-to-use management interface. High Performance Each SATA/SAS controller is equipped with a 64-bit Intel® Xeon® processor and a 2GB cache. Together with HOWEN’s unique read-ahead cache algorithm and I/O accelerating technology, the HW1624i can provide bandwidth up to 300MB/s.</p><p>High Flexible Connections The HW1624i supports up to four Ethernet ports and one SAS 4x expansion port -allowing for easy connectivity to your network and fast expansion of the system.</p><p>Mix & Match The HW1624i features SAS technology. It comes in a 4U 19 inch rack mount chassis with 24 slots and 4U 19 inch rack mount chassis with 24 slots for hot-swappable hard drives in one enclosure (minimum configuration has four hard drives) and allow a mixture of SATA/SAS hard drives in same enclosure - offering better price/performance ratio.</p><p>UBACKUP Function Users do not need to purchase additional backup software and backup devices, Ubackup also provide a safe and reliable integration for enterprise storage solutions.
