MNT 2: Integrate critical evaluation of peer-reviewed literature related to pathophysiology and/or nutrition care into the medical nutrition therapy recommendations for critically ill, complex patients with two or more organ dysfunction. MNT 3: Recommend the provision or withholding of nutrition related to end of life issues, palliative care, and hospice services that are compatible with patient’s care plan goals.
