Introductions - no issues raised</p><p>2. Updates on issues and opportunities - Review of notes from previous meeting deferred</p><p>3a. New IEA Task 51: Solar Energy in Urban Planning (Lead: Miljana) - Individual countries must secure their own funding (only Germany so far) - Noted importance of connecting with municipalities throughout Ontario - Potential to bring experts from Stuttgart to Canada for knowledge sharing (Sept. 2014 or 2015)</p><p>-Action: Miljana to explore potential to organize Stuttgart event, update in September -Action: Rob to follow up with Miljana re: presentation to chapter or city staff</p><p>3b. Sharing and re-purposing of NRCan and RAIC co-authored BIPV Course Materials (Lead: Jen) - exploring potential for net zero buildings/systems -re-purposing and re-packaging of BIPV materials for reuse outside the university system</p><p>- Action: Jen to provide e-copy of BIPV manual, also issue of the course lecturer notes and links to RAIC re opportunity to offer the (UBC) course in Toronto</p><p>3c. International Opportunities (Lead: Josh)</p><p>- Action: Josh to conduct scan of relevant international events that might be of interest to the working group (green buildings, innovation in the building sector)</p><p>3d. Development of BIPV Roadmap (Lead: Rob)</p><p>- Action: Rob to look at holding facilitated session to develop BIPV roadmap in winter 2013/14</p><p>4a. Development of the FiT program for unconstructed buildings - Update from CanSIA deferred - Definition of BIPV needs to be reviewed; particular concern with 'weather barrier' – functional component may be better descriptor </p><p>- Action: Geoff to review and tighten up BIPV definition</p><p>-FiT and the OPA</p><p>- Action: Jonathan to draft a letter of support for CanSIA submission; coordinate signatures from various stakeholders – coordinate with Geoff</p><p>4b. Code Compliance Issues (Lead: Dirk) - compliance issues with foreign BIPV products (ex: Heilene, France) - issues of code difference between roofs and walls -Building Code and potential for pilot technologies</p><p>- Action: Dirk to circulate notes on BIPV code issues – could be helpful to post on website</p><p>4c. Communication and Marketing - Discussion of objectives and identifying target audiences -architects, engineers, developers, building associations, BILD etc. - Ontario Building Envelope Council (Miljana) - Upcoming conferences + associated materials development (ex: Construct Canada Show) - explore potential of a lecture at Ontario Association of Architects 2030 conference</p><p>- Action: Sylvie and Fidel to develop the speaker bureau – organize a basic overview that can be used in approaching conference/association event organizers</p><p>- Development of BIPV Directory and Case Studies (NRCan and EDC Toronto) by end of summer - identified need for generic materials</p><p>- Action: Ana and Jonathan to develop content for a brief (2-4pg.) overview of BIPV - Rob to collect and distribute examples from other sectors</p><p>-strategic marketing plan and potential for a road show/conference series</p><p>-Action: Sylvie to develop powerpoint of marketing promotions for September</p>
