
<p>App: Animoto Lesson Plan and Student Guide Bloom’s Taxonomy: Create</p><p>Objective: I will use technology to express and defend my point of view on a historical event/topic. Common Core Standards: WHST 6-8.6- Use technology, including the Internet, to produce and publish writing and present the relationships between information and ideas clearly and efficiently. WHST 6-8.2d- Use precise language and domain-specific vocabulary to inform about or explain the topic.</p><p>Social Studies GLEs: 45. Explain the point of view of key historical figures and groups in U.S. history 46. Explain the causes, effects, or impact of a given historical event in U.S. history</p><p>Lesson Ideas: TSW create an Animoto project on a selected “theme” to reflect a historical topic/event. TSW will submit the project via email or embedded document. See rubric below for scoring information.</p><p>How to use app: Animoto The following directions are using an</p><p> iphone/ipad to complete the project. </p><p>If you are using the computer version, these directions may vary. FYI.</p><p>1. Click “Create” to start a new animoto </p><p> project.</p><p>2. Scroll through the library of pictures </p><p> and click up to 12 images. </p><p>You will see the count in the “use” box. 3. Select your style by scrolling here. </p><p>You may select the music that you </p><p> want by clicking here. </p><p>4. If you want to preview the song, </p><p> click on the . If you want to </p><p> access your own playlist, click here </p><p> and you can choose from one of </p><p> your own songs. st 5. Animoto will have you set up your 1 (intro) </p><p> and last (outro) screen. Work count is limited </p><p> so keep this in mind. If you want to add </p><p> captions to your pics, slide your fingers on the </p><p> lined tabs and it will open.</p><p>6. You may change the order of the pictures by </p><p> pressing a picture to select. While holding the picture, you can move it to arrange the order </p><p> that you want it to be in. By </p><p> pressing the T+ button, you can enter caption </p><p> slides</p><p>7. This is what the screen will look like </p><p> when you select the image to write a</p><p> caption. The word count is limited </p><p> so keep this in mind. 8. Press preview- it will upload the project to </p><p> allow to watch it. If you like your finished </p><p> project, click on save video.
