<p>The Aircraft Accident Investigation Department confirms that a light Cessna 206 type of Aircraft registered as 5Y-PEB operated by Northwood Holdings Ltd,Ribways crash-landed off Wilson Airport, between the Southern Bypass and Kibera.</p><p>The aircraft took off from Wilson Airport destined for Kabarnet before crashing at 1344hrs, having been airborne for three minutes. There was no post nor pre-impact fire. </p><p>Emergency services including fire trucks from Wilson Airport responded immediately and all the five occupants on-board were evacuated and taken to hospital. </p><p>The Aircraft Accident Investigations Department ,under the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development, accessed the accident site immediately and conducted appropriate onsite investigation.</p><p>Investigations to establish the cause of the accident is ongoing and appropriate report will be availed as soon as possible.</p><p>Chief Investigator of Accidents Air Accident Investigation-Kenya Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing & Urban Development</p>
