<p>September 2017 Welcome to our Felegy 4th-5th grade Chorus! Your child has showed interested in participating in our school chorus! How exciting! Singing helps to develop skills of collaboration and performance! It is a premier activity here at Felegy! </p><p>Rehearsals: Chorus meets one day a week during the school day. There are no after school rehearsals. Each month, your child will receive a chorus schedule with their group assignment and rehearsal times. </p><p>Attendance: Members are expected to attend ALL rehearsals and performances on the schedule. Two (2) unexcused absences will result in the dismissal from our chorus. If a student needs to miss a rehearsal for classroom work, they are asked to let me know right away. Schoolwork comes first!!!</p><p>Concert Dates: We have a very active performance calendar! Please make a note in your schedule. Any TBD dates will be shared immediately upon notification:</p><p>Winter Chorus and Band Concert @ Felegy ES – December 14th @6:00PM National Christmas Tree in Washington, DC – December 21st @ 5:00PM National Cherry Blossom Festival, Washington DC - Saturday, April 14th National Anthem at The Bowie Baysox Stadium (May 2018) Date TBD Spring Chorus and Band Concert at Felegy ES – Tuesday, May 8th @ 6:00PM Music Day at Six Flags America – Friday, May 16th </p><p>Concert Attire: Please note the following attire for our evening performances. No one will be excluded because they do not have access to concert attire. Please contact Mrs. Martinelli if you need assistance. Infraction of school and class rules will result in one or more of the following consequences:</p><p>1. Verbal reminder 2. Phone call and/or e-mail to parent/guardian 3.
