<p> Layers of Soil Using Inspiration 4th Grade 2nd Six Weeks</p><p>Lesson Name: Layers of Soil Using Inspiration</p><p>TEKS: 4.10A, 4.11BA</p><p>Technology TEKS: 1A, 1B, 1C, 1E, 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E, 3A, 3B, 7A, 7B, 8B, 10A, 10B, 11A, 11B, 12A, 12B</p><p>Objective: Student is expected to display differences and similarities between two of the three layers of soil (topsoil, subsoil, and bedrock) in the Venn diagram on Inspiration that is provided for them.</p><p>Procedure:</p><p> Open Inspiration  Select File-Open Template  Double-Click on the Thinking Skills folder  Double-Click on Venn Diagram to access the template</p><p>How to use the template 1. Enter the two concepts being compared into the symbols labeled "Idea 1" and "Idea 2." 2. Enter their unique attributes into the text boxes in each of the circles. 3. In the text box in the overlapping area of the circles, enter the attributes both concepts have in common.</p><p>Example:</p><p>Three Little Pigs Three wolves</p><p>The Wolfe is the The pig is the bad guy bad guy Each story has a villain The houses are They build a made of straw & In each story houses are fourth house built as a shelter from the sticks villain They build their houses of bricks and concrete</p><p>Three Little Pigs The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig</p>
