<p> 2016 Alberta Summer Games City of Leduc July 14 - 17, 2016</p><p>Zone Development Funding Guidelines</p><p>Provincial Sport Associations are eligible for Alberta Games funding. This funding may be provided to address demonstrated Alberta Games’ needs. To apply, the Provincial Sport Association must submit the following:</p><p>1. Alberta Games Program Budget Indicate all Games revenue sources (PSA contribution, grants, sponsorship, athlete fees, etc).  All projected Games expenses (facility rentals, equipment, accommodations, travel, coach/technical officials’ expenses/ compensation).</p><p>2. Zone Development Funding Request - use the enclosed FUNDING REQUEST FORM for each activity </p><p>Alberta Games – Zone Development Funding may be applied to the following needs:  Areas of Zone athlete development identified in application or previous Games evaluation(s)  Facility Rentals  Technical Officials Training (i.e. Host Community/Zone targeted)  Zone Team Selection  Zone Travel Expenses  Zone Team Training Camps  Games-specific Coaching development</p><p>Funding levels will be based on your association’s needs, application, as well as a demonstrated commitment to your Alberta Games’ plan. Please be sure to indicate ALL revenue sources (Provincial Sport Association contribution, grants, sponsorships, athlete fees, etc.) and clearly identify your Funding request from the Alberta Sport Connection. Associations should identify pre-Games projects that require advance funding (Note: advance funding will not exceed more than half of an Associations total approved request). Submissions will not be accepted without the signature of your Provincial Sport Association President/Chairperson.</p><p>Approved Alberta Games – Zone Development Funding will be provided following the Games, and is contingent upon proper submission of the 2016 Alberta Winter Games registration forms to your Sport Liaison, and on-line entry completed for all participants (athletes, coaches, chaperones and technical officials) by June 21, 2016. </p><p>Zone development activities and Games playoffs/selections must be planned and executed as per the application; any changes to your original application must be provided to the Alberta Sport Connection (ASC). Deadline Date for Application: October 9, 2015</p>
