<p>Agency or Company NBTY Name 7366 Orangewood Ave Address Garden Grove, CA 92841 United States Contact Person Susana Aguirre Contact Email [email protected] Agency or Company (714) - 934 - 3101 Phone Number Agency or Company http://jobs.nbty.com/ Web Site URL Job Title Electrician Job Description / Overview: Duties Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor and/or Lead Direct Mechanic and within the policies, standards and procedures of NBTY Global, this position will be responsible for repairing complex breakdowns, overhauling equipment, rebuilding equipment and special maintenance related projects as assigned within an industrial setting.</p><p>Responsibilities: •Responsible for repairing complex breakdowns, overhauling equipment, rebuilding equipment, installing equipment to a high level of standard and with minimal guidance/direction/assistance. •Troubleshoots and repairs safely, quickly and effectively, identifying and selecting parts as required, overseeing contractors as required. •Develops & facilitates trade related training programs for mechanics. •Provides technical guidance to mechanics. •Contacts equipment manufacturers as required. •Assists in developing PM task lists, spare parts lists, prepares work orders and deficiency lists for equipment and facility. •Maintains a safe and debris-free work environment and follow company safety rules, SOP’s, GMP’s. •Other duties as assigned.</p><p>Skills: •Excellent troubleshooting skills are required. •Ability to carry out tasks with minimal guidance, direction and assistance. •Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills. •Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a fast paced environment. •Ability to safely and efficiently use hand and electrical tools</p><p>Physical Demands: •Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc… within a manufacturing environment •Visual acuity and must be able to work with known allergens (e.g. milk, soy, Fish oils and or other products derived from fish). Monday - Friday Work Schedule Full time Compensation Based on experience Experience: •Five years of industrial electrical and troubleshooting experience is required. Minimum Qualifications •Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical/food processing/chemical processing operations including Packaging equipment, Manufacturing equipment, PLC’s, electrical/electronics preferred.
