<p> General Membership Meeting, September 21st, 2017, John Doughs</p><p>Call to Order: 12:01</p><p>Introductions </p><p>Guest: Hannah Dockendorf from CentraCare’s BLEND (Better Living: Exercise & Nutrition Daily) Program: Farmer’s Market-they are working with the Chamber and City to get a Farmer’s Market. They can help get a grant to establish the Market. Looking to locate the Market in the park by CentraCare, Coborn’s parking lot or Finken’s parking lot.</p><p>Approve Minutes of August 17th Meeting (Stearns Electric)</p><p>Motion to Approve- Missy Second – Julie Motion Carried</p><p>Approve Treasurer’s Report</p><p>Financial Report Motion to Approve – Julie Second – Craig Motion Carried</p><p>Ongoing Business:</p><p>1. Paint & Sip- Was in August. We made $99 for fireworks. 2. Rose Days- October 5th-get a dozen roses for $20 3. Halloween- October 31st. 4:15 parade starting at Finken’s. There will be a magician and games at City Center. Businesses are welcome to do trick or treating at the City Center. 4. Princess Party-October 28th. First session is sold out and second session has 28/70 spots sold. 5. Holiday Kick Off/Bingo/Raffle-Friday after Thanksgiving. The Chamber is putting together Bingo Cards again. Contact Sara for a spot on the card. Holiday Kick Off raffle tickets are available. 6. Riverfest/Miss Melrose 2018-Butch Haider is building a float for Ms. Melrose.</p><p>New Business: </p><p>1. Award Nominations- Emailed out to businesses and had forms at the meeting. 2. Business Updates –October 7th is CentraCare Harvest Festival. Clean up after the storm is going on. Arvig now has a backup area that can run communications systems if the normal systems are down.</p><p>Committee Reports: 1. Economic Development –Arce Auto has not said if he will rebuild. By winter, the fire damaged area on Main Street will be leveled off. The City is working on a grant for small town businesses and housing for improvements. 2. Publicity/ Marketing - 3. Agriculture - 4. Membership –New Members: John Dough’s, Integrity Photography and John Young 5. Education –October 4th is Walk to School Day 6. Legislative-</p><p>Other Business:</p><p>1. Next General Meeting: October 19th at CMCU with Sally Koltes catering Tastefully Simple soup and beer bread (bring $5). 2.
