Review and comment on “Business Plan draft” for Census and Demographics. . Additions . Deletions . Basic layout . Edits and recommendations on the next steps on accomplishing the Business Plan. . New input to enrich the Business Plan and future projects. </p><p>. Request from the GIS council to recruit new members. . Idea of additional people for our subcommittee . Ellen Cromley and Robert Cromley . Comments were brought forth on the “Business Plan” draft. . Indications from members were to link the Business Plan to a Table of Contents  A draft Table of Contents was worked on and submitted by Jen and her general outline is attached.  It was decided to send out to subcommittee members the Table of Content, Draft Business Plan, and request their input for the final product  Request that committee members edit and make their recommendations, and return their draft 2 weeks before next meeting.  Suggested that the Program Goals subjects should equal Potential subjects with one having more detail. . Members to recommend other departments or someone from the public to help in the GIS development process. . An individual from DPH, Addressing, Planning Regional Organizations and Towns were some of the potential new members  It was indicated that one of our members was from DPH, Gary Archambault and therefore another person from DPH is not need upon Gary active participation. . Towns suggested; Groton, Enfield, or a town with an developed GIS system  Ellen Cromley, Institute for Community Research, and Robert Cromley, UCONN professor, will be at next meeting. . Someone from the GIS Council member list.  Working with Mike Varney of the GIS Council on that. . This month I will contact potential Individuals to join our subcommittee. . Invite or request organization such as CERC as observers or set up an informational or research meeting was suggested . It was pointed out that documents and GIS projects are a growing, ever changing, and should always be considered in flux. . As new members became part of the committee, a review and modification the Business Plan and future projects will be investigated. . A letter has gone out to towns about GIS and what the Connecticut GIS council is about.  “Who we are.”  “What we are doing.” </p><p>Next Meeting Wednesday, May 28, 2008 Room 2307 </p>
