<p> Salt Fork Community Unit School District # 512</p><p>April 20, 2017</p><p>The Salt Fork Board of Education met in regular session on April 20, 2017. The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by the Vice President, Jeff Carder. Those in attendance were Jeff Carder, Seth Smoot, Ron Taylor, Andrea Van Leer and Shelley Darnell, Board members. Also present were Eric Free and Darin Chambliss, Principals, and Donna Young, recording secretary. Board member Troy Chew arrived at 6:40 p.m.</p><p>Ron Taylor moved, seconded by Shelley APPROVED THE MARCH 16, 2017 Darnell to approve the minutes of the March REGULAR AND EXECUTIVE SESSION 16, 2017 regular and executive session MINUTES. minutes. Voice vote, all aye, motion carried.</p><p>Shelley Darnell moved, seconded by Ron ACTION 10268 Taylor to accept the election abstract of Accept election abstract of votes from the votes from the April 4, 2017 election. Roll April 4, 2017 election call: Jeff Carder, aye; Shelley Darnell, aye; Ron Taylor, aye; Seth Smoot, aye; and Andrea Van Leer, aye; motion carried.</p><p>Superintendent Cox recognized Shelley Darnell and Jeff Fauver for their service to the district. Each received a plaque honoring them for their work on the Board.</p><p>The newly elected Board members were sworn in and seated on the Board. Voice vote, all aye; motion carried.</p><p>Ron Taylor moved, seconded by Andrea Van Leer to approve the IESA membership renewal for next school year.
