Battalion and brigade S-1 Personnel Readiness sections are at the “tip of the spear” for Army-wide personnel accountability execution and require a team of HR professionals who are competent with automated HR systems and understand the personnel accountability process. During this exercise, you will work in teams of 6-8 students and conduct data reconciliation against your unit’s alpha roster for discrepancies. </p><p>MATERIALS REQUIRED: 1. AR 600-8-6 , dated 24 Sep 1998 2. The current edition of the Personnel Policy Guidance (PPG) for Overseas Contingency Operations 3. Advance Sheets and Reading Assignments for this lesson 4. Access to a computer</p><p>INSTRUCTIONS: You are assigned to the 4th Infantry Division G1. The G1 OIC, LTC Howard, Strong has given you a task to reconcile 1st BCT’s alpha roster and identify the following:</p><p>REQUIREMENTS: 1. Identify who is missing from the old roster versus the new roster. 2. What is the total number of females removed from the old roster and who are they.</p><p>TIME: 1. Each group will have 10 minutes to review alpha roster 2. Each group will have 5 minutes to brief discrepancies discovered.</p><p>. </p>
