They volunteer because they know each person can make a difference. They are committed to excellence in their profession and service in their clubs, churches and communities.</p><p>These individuals have known success and are familiar with the hard work and dedication needed to achieve it.</p><p>They have been recognized as the best in their field by their peers -- truly the most rewarding recognition possible. Being chosen REALTOR® of the Year if proof positive of the high esteem in which they are held.</p><p>Those who are so honored as REALTOR® of the Year are continually striving for excellence. They have supported their Board by serving on committees and participating in special projects. As leaders in their community they are proud to call themselves REALTORS® They are ongoing examples of the professionalism exemplified by the Code of Ethics to which they are committed. They have dedicated themselves to the service of their clients and customers.</p><p>REALTOR®spirit -- faithfulness to laws and regulations of the Code of Ethics and the time and effort expended in furthering principles of good real estate practice among other real estate brokers and general public.</p><p>Civic Activity -- participation in civic and service clubs, charitable activities, civic contributions to the community and various organizations.</p><p>Business Accomplishments - recognized good business conduct, service to clients, honesty and creativity.</p><p>Personal Contributions to the local board, such as extra effort put forth to help the Board, Committee work, Board Offices held, etc.</p><p>State and National Activity shall be considered as well as other qualifications adopted by the committee.</p><p>No Candidate shall be selected REALTOR® of the Year for two successive years. A REALTOR® of the Year must wait at least one year before they can be selected again, even though they may be nominated.</p>
