The laboratory part of this course is mandatory. . Please read the lab manual before each lab, there will be a quiz to help motivate you in doing this. . 70 of the 100 points for each lab are participation. 30 come from the 3 quiz questions. A list of 10 possible questions is included on this sight, from which the TA will pick 3 to ask. . 700 points {400 points} are possible for all of the labs, which corresponds to 15% of your final grade . If you know in advance you can’t make it to your assigned lab for a good reason, go to the physics office and convince them of this, and they can write a permission slip for another lab.
