<p> Garth D. Shreading</p><p>My name is Garth Shreading and for the past two years it has been my pleasure to serve on MAFCA’s board of directors, first as Chapter Coordinator and currently as President. During my time as director I have expanded my belief that the local chapter is the heart and soul of MAFCA. It’s through the local chapter that MAFCA is best represented, as it is where we form some of our closest friends and regularly take part in Model A activities.</p><p>As a member of three chapters I have served them as president for five years, vice president for two years, treasurer for two years, newsletter editor and tour chairman as well as chair of the 2005 CCRG Jamboree and served on the 2008 Gulf Coast Steering committee. Now as a national director, my understanding of the importance that the roles the members and local chapters play in our hobby continues to grow. I believe that MAFCA’s primary roll is to help the membership and chapters to enjoy these great cars and our fantastic hobby. </p><p>After graduating from college, I went into asset management, eventually becoming a partner and then buying the company. During these years I both supervised personal as well as oversaw corporate assets. After selling the company, I entered into investment banking specializing in loans for nonprofit corporations. I believe for any origination to be successful; respect of people who work for it and who it serves is essential.</p><p>My wife Janet and I live in southeast Texas and over the last two years we have been privileged to meet so many wonderful people from around the land, Model A people. </p><p>I would appreciate your consideration in voting for me for my second and final term on MAFCA’s Board of Directors.</p><p>500 countrywood circle sour lake, tx. 767659 [email protected]</p>
