<p>ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, CAMPUS SERVICES Building & Landscape Services</p><p>The University of Iowa department of Facilities Management is seeking an innovative leader for this newly created position to deliver an ambitious, long-term strategy that will drive transformational change, in a sustainable fashion, for the services provided in the areas of landscape, custodial, and key & access services, as well as ADA/facilities accessibility. </p><p>The successful candidate will lead four service units of approximately 290 FTE, with combined operating budgets of over $18 million, providing services within 6.6 million cleanable square feet of campus research, teaching, assembly, library and office space, and 860 acres of maintainable landscape zones across three campus areas with 200 acres being intensely maintained urban campus. With a total campus area of roughly 16 million square feet, over 200 buildings and spanning 1900 acres, meeting the diverse needs of our customers while keeping our facilities secure and universally accessible will also be a key responsibility for this position. Additionally, the successful candidate will assure organizational accountability for developing and maintaining a diverse and inclusive work environment, as well as lead organizational efforts to improve workplace safety. The position reports directly to the Director of Building & Landscape Services, and works closely with Facilities Management leadership to aggressively pursue departmental strategic initiatives.</p><p>The University of Iowa’s Facilities Management department is forward thinking and progressive and prides itself on organizational innovation, communication, collaboration, reputation, and fostering a positive work environment.
