<p> Alex Brown</p><p>CEB Dip Dental Hygiene</p><p>Information for Patients</p><p>Alex qualified from Newcastle University with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene in March 1995. </p><p>Over the last 15 years Alex has developed her skills in treating and preventing gum disease. With her experience and training, Alex is able to provide care in the treatment of all forms of gum disease including advanced gum disease. </p><p>Alex has a particular interest in the use of antibiotic gels which have been shown to be useful in the management of gum diseases that have previously been difficult to treat. In recent years Alex has developed her skills to be able to offer tooth whitening in combination with her gum disease treatments.</p><p>We were proud to have Alex join Hexham Dental Clinic in 2009 and our patients have been most grateful of her care and advice since then. </p><p>Anyone who has been treated by Alex will not be surprised to hear that she loves her work and sets herself very high standards.</p><p>Outside of work Alex is a loving mother of 2 children. She enjoys her spare time either with family or riding her beloved horse.</p>
