Nancy, Sharon Z.</p><p>Item Comments Action Items</p><p>Christmas Goose We will have 2 meetings in October to prepare for the Christmas Goose. October 8 and 22.</p><p>Wish Upon Card Went Well: - The silent auctions both went well, especially the improved method of payment prior to handing the framed cards to the purchaser who then took it to be wrapped. -Organization of volunteers was good. Thanks Barb! -Love the new Chamber lay out and the new lighting. New director was great to work with. -The procedure for counting money at the end of each shift was very good. -Precut sheets to wrap pictures in helped make checkout go smoother. -Reception at the Chamber and the sales there went well. -Smoothest year yet.</p><p>How to Improve: -Need a large reader board that lists what the money raised goes for. -Look into getting rubber feet for bottom wires of display racks at chamber to protect floor. -At the Chamber the racks looked better without the aluminum work lights clipped on top. -Should we take proxy bids over the phone? If we don’t we may lose sales. -We need to have phones to user for calls after the biding closes that are not our personal cells. Those who used their phones got many call-backs. -Need more volunteers if we are going to cover so many days so that fewer people are going multiple days. -Do we need to demonstrate on Sunday? Maybe we should just have the directions and sell cards. -We could sell the chamber posters for them on days they are not there. Several people wanted to buy them from us.</p><p>Ruth’s Poster Project Teresa can sell Ruth’s poster in front of Newport Market for a few days. The price will be $50. We have about 30 left.</p><p>Bench Have not heard more about the bench dedicated to Wendy yet.</p><p>Next Meeting Thursday, September 24th, 5:15 for regular meeting.
