Only specific technological and medical developments demand perfection.</p><p>Most products and services only make money when they are excellent but not perfect.</p><p>An excellent with appropriate technology, market and price will sell and be profitable. To upgrade and “Excellent” computer to a “Perfect” computer will affect the market and the price to an extent that will never be salable or profitable.</p><p>IBM products like are sometimes called: “Inferior but Marketable”. They are excellent, but not perfect. They have reputation, image and market power. They are packed by the best service available. IBM is profitable. It is also one of the World’s largest and most successful companies.</p><p>Customers Demand Excellence. They Do Not Demand Perfection.</p><p>April 29, 2008</p><p>It is better to aim for Excellence</p><p>And miss Than to aim lower and hit. </p><p>AIM AT EXCELLENCE AND CREATE A “TONE” OF EXCELLENCE THROUGHOUT YOUR ENTIRE ORGANIZATION The “tone” of excellence is blend of optimism, enthusiasm, vigor, excitement and success.</p><p>The “tone” of excellence fosters higher self-esteem and built self-image in individuals.</p><p>The “tone” of excellence helps people to believe in them selves and in the organization. It helps people believe in challenge and in success. It helps people believe in the people above them who represent “management”.</p><p>Develop a “tone” of excellence and watch it spread.</p><p>Excellence is like a perfect rainbow – it shines over everyone as it frames the sky.</p><p>You Have To Look For A Rainbow, But When You Need It, It Is Magic.</p>
