A morpheme can be a one-syllable word (cats) or part of a word (the s in cats). The meaning of s is “more than one.” Prefixes and suffixes are types of morphemes.</p><p>10. misplaced- put in the wrong location 11. postponed- to put off to a later time 12. resubmit- send in again 13. noiseless- without noise 14. departure- act of leaving</p><p>Comprehension Skill</p><p> The main idea is the most important idea about the topic.
