<p> Noble REMC Operation Round Up Grant Deadline April 3</p><p>The Noble REMC Operation Round Up® Trust Fund is accepting grant applications until April 3 for the next grant cycle from the cooperative’s charitable trust. Operation Round Up is an ongoing fundraising program benefiting area non-profit community organizations, projects and events. It’s a nationally-recognized charitable giving program unique to many of the nation’s leading rural electric cooperatives. </p><p>Over eighty percent of Noble REMC members graciously allow their electric bill to be rounded to the nearest dollar to an even dollar amount. The rounded up money (pennies per month) is placed in a charitable trust with oversight by its own volunteer board of directors. </p><p>Currently, Noble REMC members have given back (through Operation Round Up) nearly $665,000 into local communities benefiting several organizations in their service territory. </p><p>Non-profit community based organizations in Noble, DeKalb and adjoining counties, where the electric cooperative serves, are eligible to apply.
