<p> AP English Literature – Allusions 1 1. It is important that you understand allusions to the items below to improve your understanding of literary meaning. In other words, if you do not “get” the allusion, you will not fully understand the literature. 2. You will have three - four days to complete each group of allusions, and you may take notes on them in any format that you choose (graphic organizer, regular notes, Cornell notes, etc.). Each response should include a brief summary where applicable and an explanation of the significance of each topic. Two groups of notes will be due at the end of each week for weeks 2 – 4; there will be quizzes on each 2-3 days after your notes have been returned. There will be a longer test at the end. 3.
