<p> Manned Space Travel Informational Poster Project Objective: Students will create an informational posted, based on book or internet research, describing the following for an assigned obstacle –  Obstacle to space travel (to be assigned per group by teacher)</p><p> Effects on humans</p><p> Accommodations (how can we overcome it) </p><p>Students will have only two class periods to complete the poster.</p><p>Group jobs:  Mission Controller (Teacher)</p><p> Pilot (Facilitator/Leader) Keeps group on task and makes sure to check the poster against the rubric for the highest grade possible.</p><p> Copilot (Recorder) Searches for all of the information found for the poster.</p><p> Crew Chief (Organizer) Organizes the images and information on the poster.</p><p> Flight Engineer (Materials Manager) Makes sure all the information is on the poster and keeps the materials in order for the team.</p><p>Flight Checklist </p><p>1. Everyone should actively participate in the activity. </p><p>2. Be considerate of each group member. </p><p>3. Ask others in your group to explain their thinking and work. </p><p>4. Help any group member who asks a question. 5. Recognize that it's acceptable to disagree with others in the group. </p><p>6. In the final analysis, everyone in the group should agree on the process/solution/product. </p><p>7.
