<p> Prayer to confess and repent of personal sins</p><p>Occult sin Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You CONFESSING, RENOUNCING and REPENTING of all sinful, occult practices and idolatry of seeking information, knowledge, healing, comfort, identity or power from any occult, psychic or secret source. I RENOUNCE all use of occult power, casting spells or witchcraft, voodoo, black and white magic and any other forms of local witchcraft. I CONFESS that I have sinned against You and Your Word by my involvement with the following occult practices______(speak out here all known involvement). I acknowledge that ultimately all these practices are the worship of Satan and I choose now to REPENT and place Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Who came in the flesh, on the throne of my life. I ask You now to forgive me for these and any other occult involvement that I may have knowingly or unknowingly entered into and to cleanse me of their effects on my family and me. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Sexual sin Father, I confess that at various times in my life I have been powerless against the continuing attacks of the enemy on my sexuality. However, I have chosen to sin in various ways and ask you to forgive me for the following: (speak out all the sexual sins that the Lord brings to your memory). I now agree with your verdict on my sin. I renounce all pleasure associated with these sins. I ask You to cleanse my memories, heal the hurts and forgive me. In Jesus’ name, Amen. All other habitual sins Father, I ask You to forgive me for my continual vulnerability to the sin of (speak out specific sin/s). I recognize my own part in choosing to sin in this way and ask You to set me free from the chains that have bound me to this sin. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Repentance from sin I now turn from my sin. I ask You, Father, to forgive me for all that is past, give me the discernment to recognize temptation when it comes and the strength to resist it. Thank You that Jesus’ blood was shed that I might be made clean. I ask You to cleanse me now from all uncleanness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
