<p>What is the difference between Old WebFOCUS and the New WebFOCUS Dashboard?</p><p>On the Gateway Portal, there are links to two different WebFOCUS systems. What’s the difference?</p><p>When Saint Louis University implemented the New WebFOCUS Dashboard, the project did not have enough resources to migrate all of the reports from Old WebFOCUS to the New WebFOCUS Dashboard.</p><p>All new WebFOCUS report development is done in the New WebFOCUS Dashboard. Reports in the New WebFOCUS Dashboard access the Operational Data Store (ODS) and Banner tables directly.</p><p>Clicking on the New WebFOCUS Dashboard link yields the following login screen: For new user access requests to the New WebFOCUS Dashboard, follow the links on the left of the main BIC home page.</p><p>What is left in the Old WebFOCUS system? Month end Statement of Account and Report of Transactions Labor Distribution Reports UMG Category and Responsibility Reports Ability to run a listing of year-to-date transactions Tracking of documents by reference number</p><p>Old WebFOCUS reports do not access the ODS (Operational Data Store) or Banner tables directly. Instead, an export of Banner data is loaded into the Old WebFOCUS system. </p><p>Clicking on the Old WebFOCUS link yields the following login screen: For new user access requests to the Old WebFOCUS system, go to the Business and Finance Website, http://www.slu.edu/services/busfin/ and click on Forms to access the Banner Finance Access Request Form.</p><p>When will the reports from Old WebFOCUS be migrated over to the New WebFOCUS Dashboard? A project request has been submitted to the ITS Project Database. This project will be prioritized along with the other projects in the database and done accordingly.</p><p>All WebFOCUS documentation on this website pertains to the New WebFOCUS Dashboard.</p>
