<p>Current Science Event (CSE)</p><p>At any time during the year you will have the opportunity to read an article that has to deal with current science events that are making news. The criteria for this assignment are as follows:</p><p>1. Find a valid current article from print to read. A possible source can be a newspaper article or scientific magazine article. You could also choose something from the Internet as long as it has some science validity or is something we talked about during the first week of school. The article does not have to be very long, but it needs to be current.</p><p>2. When you finish reading, you must copy the article to earn full credit.</p><p>3. You will then follow the guidelines set forth on the report sheet. These are set strategies that will help you break down the article and better understand it.</p><p>4. Sometime during the week, place your summary in your class period’s grading basket. If done properly, you will receive 10 enrichment points for your efforts. </p><p>*You may only hand in one Current Science Event per week.</p>
