Please keep your Passport in a safe place and record your CPD points throughout the year. It is each member’s responsibility to ensure (a) the completion and the safe keeping of their passport, (b) obtaining relevant certificates/documentation/letters or proof/records signed.</p><p>A total of 100 CPD points are required for each year in order to maintain membership of the Association. All CPD Passports must be attached to the Membership Renewal Form with the passport pages correctly completed, relevant certificates attached and/or letters of proof must be submitted as membership cannot be renewed without them. This is the member’s responsibility.</p><p>Members can now calculate points based on the simple table below. We cannot include every scenario in a simpler system, therefore please contact the IMTA General Secretary if a course you have attended/any continued development work does not seem to fit into any of the following categories. 1) New qualifications obtained • 100+ contact Hours: 200 points • 80+ contact hours: 175 points • 50+ contact hours: 150 points</p><p>2) 5 day+ course, with assessment/exam 50 points 5 day+ course, no assessment/exam 40 points</p><p>3) 3 day Occupational First Aid or Basic First Aid course: 30 points</p><p>4) 2 day+ course with assessment/exam 30 points 2 day+ course, no assessment/exam 25 points</p><p>5) 1 day+ course (incl. First Aid Refresher), with assessment/exam 25 points 1day+ course, no assessment/exam, 20 points</p><p>6) Information seminar/lecture/talk; volunteering; articles published; regional meetings attended (coffee & chat): 10 points per instance Practical talk or demonstration at Regional Meetings: 20 points per instance </p><p>7) A member of the IMTA Executive Board: 100 points A Regional Coordinator (or specific project): 75 points</p><p>8) Attendance at AGM (full day): 50 points</p><p>NB: MEMBERS ARE REMINDED THAT IN ORDER TO ADD A THERAPY TO IMTA WEBSITE A QUALIFICATION MUST BE ACHIEVED, CERTIFICATES OF ATTENDANCE ARE NOT SUFFICIENT.</p><p>E.g. attending a day seminar on reflexology will be awarded CPD points but does not qualify you to treat as a Reflexologist.</p><p>Members of the Executive Committee and all Regional Officers can sign your Passport.
