A segment can be done in one session using the program.</p><p>Segment 1 has six lessons.</p><p>Lesson 1.1</p><p>Play the video. Listen to what people say. Click the “script” button to see the words that people are saying. Use the slide bar to repeat part of the video.</p><p>There are three activities in this lesson.</p><p>Activity 1 Watch and Choose</p><p>Basic directions: 1. Play the video (Click on the icon in the lower left of the image). 2. Click on the box next to the correct answer.</p><p>There are four questions in this activity.</p><p>Activity 2 What’s the line?</p><p>Basic directions: 1. Click on the correct word, and do not let go of the mouse. 2. Click on the correct word, and do lot let go of the mouse. 2. Play the video one line at a time. (Select the down arrow under the image). After you hear the line, click on the microphone icon. Click on the microphone icon again to record yourself. Click on the stop icon. Click on the “compare” icon to compare your recording to the video. Click on the boxes. 2. Click on the example and the term to make a match. Lesson 1.5 Check-up test</p><p>There are twenty questions. Follow the directions to answer the questions.</p><p>Lesson 1.6 Writing</p><p>Activity 1 Watch and write (This is the best listening test).</p><p>Basic directions: 1. Click on the “play” icon in the lower left of the image, or look at the picture. 2. Type what you hear in the box, or type an answer to what you see. 3. Click on the “check” box to compare what you wrote with the answer.</p><p>Activity 2 Write the answer</p><p>Basic directions: 1. Look at the picture. 2. Type an answer to what you see. 3. Click on the “check” box to compare what you wrote with the answer.</p><p>Activity 3 Write about it</p><p>Write answers to the questions.</p>
