<p> Surrey Cricket Groundsmans Seminar 2015</p><p>“Driving Surrey Cricket from the Ground up”</p><p>The Surrey Cricket Groundsman’s Association is staging its Annual Seminar at the Kia Oval on Thursday 5th March 2015. The seminar is open to full and part time groundsman from schools, clubs, local authorities or anyone who has an interest in groundmanship.</p><p>The day will feature various presentations including the SCGA AGM and Lunch. Presentations for the day will last approximately 30 minutes and will include time for questions. The seminar so far looks as follows:</p><p> Dr Iain James – Data Collection and PQS at the Kia Oval</p><p> Chris Woods (ECB) – 1st Class Counties’ use of Marquees </p><p> Ben Taylor (Berhards) - Mower Setting and Sharpening</p><p> John Dodwell – Recording of Pitch/Ground Use</p><p> Sherriff Amenity – Turf Diseases</p><p> Lee Fortis and SCCC Grounds Team – Practical Session in the Marquee and Machinery Demonstration</p><p>All delegates are encouraged to use public transport travelling to The KIA Oval, as parking is restricted.
