The students did an excellent job of coming back focused to finish this final quarter. </p><p>Olentangy Liberty DECA continued its success at the Ohio DECA Career Development conference the weekend of March 17th and 18th by qualifying 18 students in 7 different events for the International DECA conference next month in Anaheim, California. Liberty DECA had 3 first places, 1 second, 1 third and 2 fourth place teams. Below are the events and participants.</p><p>First Place- Learn and Earn Project: (Liberty is 3 time defending State Champion in the event) Sam Silber, Erin Devine and Ryan Kivett Public Relations Project: Garrett Yant, George Christy and Andrew Slawson Independent Business Plan: Saur Gaur, Natalie Amodeo and Jordan Ullom Second Place- Franchise Business Plan: Enzo Wielezynski, Brandon Piatak, Miranda Weber Third Place- Finance Operations Research Event: Matt Taura, Colin Street and Sam Turner Fourth Place -Community Service Project: Kevin Coghlan and Jonathan Finn International Business Plan: Raaga Daburri, Kaitlyn Fullenkamp and Aliza Khandelwal </p><p>Next week we will continue administration of the Ohio State Tests (OST). Students not testing or attending an AP review session will need to arrive at school for the start of their first class period of the day.
