Notwithstanding any other provision of law and pursuant to the favorable vote in the referendum held in Hampton County at the time of the 2002 general election, the sales and use tax allowed to be imposed pursuant to the Capital Project Sales Tax Act is imposed in Hampton County effective May 1, 2003.</p><p>Time effective</p><p>SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.</p><p>Ratified the 6th day of March, 2003.</p><p>Became law without the signature of the Governor -- 3/13/03. </p><p>______</p>
