<p> Silly Science - Classification and Dichotomous Keys</p><p>Background Information: a dichotomous key is a valuable tool that can be used to identify many objects. The key is designed based on asking a series of questions where the answer to the first question leads you to the second question and so on until you have identified your unknown object. Dichotomous keys can be designed to classify any types of objects.</p><p>Directions: 1. Use the dichotomous key to find the silly name for all your objects. 2. Pick one object from the list below to “identify”. 3. Start at question 1 and choose either 1a or 1b depending on which fits the object you are trying to identify. 4. Then go to the next question indicated. 5. Continue this until you find the silly name of your object. 6.
